The Best Times to Visit San Francisco

June, July and August are the summers in some parts of Northern hemisphere, but San Francisco and in many areas don’t conform to expectations. We advise you bring a jacket. The best time to visit is during “Indian Summer”, which is September to November. During these months the daily Temperatures are at their highest across the peninsula. See my climate table below. The temperatures arae always in the high 60’s and can reach into the 80s and 90s. These are great days to enjoy a day at the beach or a nice walk or concerts in Golden Gate Park.

Alamo AParkThe weather is San Francisco changes as the seas, literally. The City by the Bay is surrounded by water. You have the ocean on one side and the Bay on the other. Forecasting the weather is the hardest and it could change from neighborhood to neighborhood. San Francisco weather is hard to predict for visitors. We have fog city, majestic skies and awesome sunsets.
A must see is the skyline from Alamo Square Park. Take a walk in the park on a nice sunny day and tour the famous Victorian homes on Steiner Street in San Francisco.
